“One Hundred and Eight is an interactive wall-mounted Installation mainly made out of ordinary garbage bags. Controlled by a microcontroller each of them is selectively inflated and deflated in turn by two cooling fans.”
I’d love to see this installation – created by German artist/designer Nils Völker – scaled up so it covered the entire side of a building.
Read more about One Hundred and Eight on Nils’ website.

Time lapse tilt-shift of the Coachella music festival? Yes, please! My favorite moment is at 3:10.
This gem was directed, shot, cut and finished by the super-talented Sam O’Hare. Music provided by Human.

“Nowhere Near Here is a stop motion animation that uses a combination of light with stencils and long exposure photography to tell the story of a dog running around the city at night, doing whatever a dog does.”
A whole lot of time, but completely worth it. Animation by Pahnl

This video has been seen 2,827,715 times but not once by me yet – so I’m really in debt to Mary for passing this funny, silly little gem along to put up on the site.
Do you have something awesome to share that you think would be perfect for The Tripatorium? Send it along! Any and all suggestions are welcome!

“An unknown virus has destroyed almost the entire human population. Oblivious to the true nature of the disease, the only remaining survivors escape to the sea…”
I hadn’t seen this video in a while and I’m glad I watched it again – it’s top-flight stuff. If you haven’t seen it yet, you’re in for a treat. Be sure to dim the lights…
